According the IND and the Inspectorate SZW, one is allowed to work as a self-employed person without restrictions with a “Study residence permit”. As long as you meet the requirements for that residence permit. A “TWV” (specific work permit) is not required. One must however register with the Chamber of Commerce (KvK, Kamer van Koophandel) and pay tax. One may also need to arrange for Dutch healthcare insurance.
